    This is what I did , from the cat back ,2-1/2" pipe exiting behind pass. side rr. wl. NO muffler ,Fairly quite till you hammer the gas , 1988 350

    tHE BEST THING you can do is subscribe to Pisscutter Performance on youtube . This guy has the best coverage on the 350 vortec, he's done it all and can back it up .Tell him 35 Olds says so .Im not kidding !

    If you go on You Tube , check out Piss Cutter Performance . This guy and his followers have a LOT of information on the VORTEC motor . He really knows what he is doing . I was in your shoes a couple weeks ago , got all my answers there . , Bob

    what does something like that cost ? It could be cost prohibitive .I replaced speed sencor once and that fixed it for months now it is doing again , intermitent .

    I have an 88 silverado , 350 engine , my speedo works sometimes and sometimes does not . Suggetested to me to pull the gage cluster and check the grounds . WHAT grounds ?     1989 speed sensor and instrument cluster

    My 88 Chevy Truck had this issue , Looking all over the net I found a solution that worked . I bought and installed a new speed sensor . So far it has fixed the issue . I found solution on a you tube site . Bob
