Solid low end torque after more tuning with the shorty headers. Small cam goes in this winter. Currently 193hp @ 4,600rpm and 260tq @ 2,400rpm. So yeah that resonator box on the intake with "Vortec" written on it. Did a dyno run with and without it and zero difference in power or...- 11MPG

So I went to replace my dual steering stabilizers? The original owner said the dealer installed them with the lift kit before he bought it in the fall of 1997. No idea who made this kit. 2.5 inch. Factory off the manifolds is dual 2.75 for the 2500 and 3500 trucks but with only a 350 i figured downsizing the tail pipes to 2.5 wouldn't change anything. Yeah i've head piston slap and this wasn't piston slap. Thing had been beaten hard without maintenance. The EFI-Live tuning...- 11MPG

I was hopeful but the truck I was gonna use for parts even though it had low miles it turned out to have a bad motor knock and I quickly lost interest. Gonna just go back to the original plan: add headers and a mild cam. Exhaust was done at a local exhaust shop. Mufflers are Hush Thrush...- 11MPG

ARE is one of the last companies making hard shell caps for these but they are still really well built. But yeah. The diamond plate really needs to go now. Also might buy a rough but low milage 1998 C2500 tomorrow ......for a specific part :cheers:- 11MPG

I used Chemical Guys V series polish with a buffer to get the shine back as well as remove the scratches and swirls. After that used their glaze topped with Jet Seal to protect the paint and keep it shiny. The painting was done with a gun in a garage with exhaust fans. Sanded, cleaned...- 11MPG

Decided to Color match the bumpers. Don't see a lot of OBS trucks like this and I dig it. Also dragged this 40 miles through the hills. Scale had us over 13,000 lbs for the whole circus. The 3.73s were tough on the really steep country roads but it was fine.- 11MPG
