I was referring to the taillights. Did you just use VHT nightshades or whatever to smoke them?

Yes I used scotch bright just to lightly scuff them then I cleaned them, then I smoked them, and about 8 coats of clear. And to answer your question yes just general old VHT

I just got my new taillights. I was wanting to know if I should seal them before I put them on or are they okay?!

I run the same never sealed them had them on for 5 months no issues

Cool I just don't want them to fill with water. So they just plug and play? I've got the same as 95Escahoe and they're $98.99.

Ive washed them a few times and its rained had no issues, yup just plug and play has the resistors built in
