, but LT1 heads only fit a GenII LT style reverse coolant flow block. Vortec truck heads flow better anyway.

It's like a vortech, but spelled wronger
I thought the small block Vortec heads were basically normal coolant flow LT1 heads, but I've never owned either one of them.
More trouble than it's worth. The cooling is different on the heads is the biggest draw back. It can be done and has been. The cast iron version actually flows better than the aluminum version of the heads from what I've read on them and don't quote me but I think both versions raise the compression of the engine to around 10.5:1 or there abouts.
