    Your post made me remember I took this picture: If they're out of stock you can make the same thing with unions and male to male adapters but that's the cleanest way to go, plus no need for 37 degree flaring dies.

    I just cut the fuel lines off at some point, flare them and adapt to -AN, and then run the -AN wherever you need it to go.

    Should be fine, I'd imagine modern cpus are transferring a lot more thermal energy than the ICM. It's a pea sized drop for a 1"x1" surface to give you an idea of how much to use.

    225 isn't really a big deal for the motor, but it's pretty hot for the transmission. Get some stats on trans temp and then see if you need to make changes.

    Personally I'd drop it into D uphill but you're probably ok in OD on the flats. Also, I'm a fan of trans coolers with integrated thermostatic bypasses plumbed after the radiator cooler. I might be getting ahead of myself with the science here, but my idea is you want the liquid cooler first...

    You're going to have to get closer to pinpointing the leak to know for sure. If you can't get a visual, put a glove on, prime the rail, and start feeling it up until you have a wet finger.

    Ah yes, the widely adopted and much celebrated Displacement on Demand. Unless you've got a way to stop the valves from opening, this is a bad idea. You should replace your injectors with a flow matched set of new ones before the trip.

    In the late 70's, GM wasn't sure any V8 was going to be able to hit the EPA's targets for the mid 80's, but if there was a chance, it was with the 305. Fortunately fuel injection technology (and smog pumps, etc) worked so well that it put the 350 back on the table.

    255lph pump is good for 500hp to the wheels, I think a 340lph is totally unnecessary for anywhere near stock motors and it'll end up being extra stress on the electrical system and fuel lines just to circulate the fuel into the tank faster. You can just swap pumps on your existing fuel sender...

    I'd say my current motor was light sludge like that. I just cleaned it out and I run high mileage oil with a good oil filter, but I also changed my intake and put a new pcv system on at the same time so I'm hoping it won't produce any now.     Vise grips and pull while twisting would be the first thing I'd do. Assuming it comes out, I'd chase the threads with a tap and insert a fresh bolt with hi temp thread sealant.
