I'm thinking this is my issue too. I did confirm that it has drop spindles (not sure which ones) on my truck. This truck use to also be a v6 and they swapped in a 350 v8 and I believe the original v6 springs were cut + the weight of the v8 = riding on the bump stops. Well that's my thought...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I've lowered NNBS's and K2 trucks and never had them riding on bump stops. Since the OBS's are new to me I've tried to search and can't find of picture of the bump stops with the 4 inch drop in the front to reference. I was even thinking about raising it...
I was looking at maybe a 245/60, same sidewall height and more narrow than current according to the tire calculator. I’ll have to see how that tire size 205/70 would look on these wheels.
