Okay I got the tire size from this post, what's the height difference in the tires? Looks like around 4" by the picture?Next up was getting rid of the steel wheels and smaller all-terrain tires. Nothing was wrong with them, just not my taste.
Decided to give Treadwright remold tires a try, in 285/75/16 with some decent stock PY0 aluminum wheels.

Also cranked the torsion keys a bit to level the truck and give it a better stance.

Okay cool thanks very much! Eventually my crew cab is going to get PY0s and I would like to go with a more aggressive tread pattern. It was 3.25" from the size of the tires that came on the truck, when I got it. While a 285/75/16 is just over 2" more than what should've been on the truck from the factory.
Great thread! Curious about this tailgate bezel. Do you happen to have the part number for it? Or what truck it came from? Do you think it could be made to work on a GMT400 tailgate?Next step was a better rear camera system. Going back to OEM or OEM+, I really wanted something that looked like it could be factory.
Found a tailgate handle with the camera integrated. I couldn't run my wiring straight down, as I didn't want to intersect with the factory 1 ton bed mounted running lamp I wanted to install. It took about an hour of fish tape, duct tape, life changing tape, to get the wire fished to the bottom drivers side of the tailgate. From there, I added grommets and passed the harness thru the rear bed cross-sill. I didn't want the camera wiring to be seen while the gate was closed.
