You sure that isn't the differential itself all tore up and making that racket? Pull the axle shafts and see what the surface looks like where it rides the bearings.
In and of itself that jack did shockingly little. It deflected the frame maybe 1/4". I decided to leave that preload on and add some more pressure.
The wee 2 ton only added 1/4" more deflection, seemed to move the frame 1/4" or so. I took another look at my setup and noticed the frame pushed...
I have a video of my wheel with rotor and axle flange still attached hauling ass across a field, but the site won't let me attach it. Been there done that twice, aftermarket sucks!
You're the first one I've heard mention a 6.0 fan, I may have to give that a whirl. Also, I just put on a Bullhead City t-shirt as my mom lives there. Your timing is uncanny.
I don't think you're gonna get the same results with that vs having them professionally flowed and cleaned. Then again the 2 junkyard sets I sent in were good enough to start with.
I take it a few steps further. I have a camber caster gauge but it doesn't do caster reliably so I just max both sides out on that and then pull back on the side that it's pulling away from while keeping camber constant. Once that's all done it's the arduous task of getting that steering wheel...
I blame myself. And I do see wrecked V6 Camaros and Mustangs at the boneyard so anything is possible, but I do have to refer you back to my first 2 memes in terms of 3V power. :deal:
I used Witch Hunter forever ago and I forget who for the injectors in the 1500 and dually. Real helpful, huh? I think they were priced similarly though. Anyone who gives you a before and after flow should be good enough.
