3/8” above but level with cutout on passenger side. Guess it wasn’t an exact science that day in Detroit.

Any one have a picture of both sides of the z71 decal on there truck? I'm looking to get mine as close as possible when I put mine back on. Thanks in advance!

The GM service manual should have decal placement instructions. I only have the 88 version, before the Z71 decals were available. Or I would share with you.

My 4x4 decals are basically level with the bottom of the tail light opening. But it appears it was not an exact science. Here’s what the manual has.

I figured I was going to put them about level with the bottom of the tail light I just needed to see how far away from the tail light to go. I want it to look as stock as possible as I've seen some that where not even close and didn't like how they looked.
