Here's how I increased the signal from my Keyless entry remote 7x!
I could only lock/unlock my truck from ~5 feet. Now I can do it from 35 feet away.

Items needed:
Soldering iron
Solder
~4" wire

Here's the average distance for the factory remote (in my case).

Process:

Use a flat screwdriver to separate the two halves of the remote

The 2 halves & the buttons were little dirty.... Clean 'em up.

Grab your Soldering iron, solder & a short piece of wire.

Solder the wire to the area pictured.

Route the wire like this.

You must be registered for see images attach

Put the two halves back together and test it out.

My solder didn’t hold, guess it’s too cheap. anything else I can use to hold it in place?

A not cold solder joint should do nicely.

I can’t get it to melt around the wire. All it does it melt off the stick into a hard little ball

Need flux on the wire otherwise the solder won’t flow.
