Windshield compatibility

So, being in Australia comes with some issues. Like arguing with a windshield company that the Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra did indeed exist prior to 2002.

I need a windshield as mine is cracked and can't be repaired. I have been told by a helpful Victorian Wrecker that the windshield from a 1998 Suburban is the same as on my 97 GMC Sierra? Suburbans were sold under the local Holden badge.

So I have found the below windshield and was wondering if it would be correct? I believe the answer is yes, but I'm asking here as the mob selling it probably won't know and the windshield will need to travel about 1000 miles freight to make it to the truck.

windshields for all GMT400 platforms are identical.

As an aside, Silverado/Sierra were standalone model names on the GMT800 trucks (99+ short and extended cab, 01+ crew) but trim levels on our trucks. This confuses people a great deal.
