Window tint / after market defroster

What is the proper way to do it. Defrost kit first then tint?

They have the windows that are already tinted with the rear defrost. All you have to do is dig the factory wires for the defrost free from the harness running up from the driver side

Car-part.com is a good source to find the factory tinted rear window w/ defrost.

On the passenger side of the truck, the ground wire is bolted to the body on the b/c-pillar behind the plastic panel.

The pwr wire is purple, it runs along the driver's side & plugs in @ the fuse panel.

Then get a rear defrost switch & pigtail from a late 1st gen s-blazer, s-Jimmy or a 1st gen Bravada.

Is the window swap a pain i. The ass for a shadetree mechanic or bring it to a glass shop and let them put it in

In the Factory setup, the defrost button is on the HVAC controller.

The wires wont be in your truck, you need to get the black & purple wires from the donor.
