Window pains (pun intended)

Hey guys. I have a 1995 chevy cheyenne 2500. The passenger window fell into the bottom of the door. I got it apart and got the window back in track but I can't figure out how the window regulator "scissor thing" goes.
I see the track for part of it on the bottom of the glass but how exactly does it go?
This truck Has manual windows and this is on the drinkers side.

You have to slide the rollers into the ends of the channel on the window. I think it's the stupidest design I've seen. The engineers on the door team for these trucks are on my "punch these guys in the junk" list.
