Why isn't the 99 Tahoe listed on any kits and why only 2 door?

A 99, 00 gmt400 suv is a carry over model.
Gmt400 Generation ended in 98.
Same goes w/ having a 99, 00 or 01 3500, they are just carry overs.
Every generation pretty much does this, minus the gmt900, those did not have a 2014 carry over model

The 98 and 99 Tahoe's have completely different front suspensions. I leased a 98 and was surprised when I replaced it with a 99 to see that (AFAIR) they had switched from coil spring front end to torsion bar.



2wd (coil springs) vs 4wd (torsion bars)
This would definitely make and suspension kits incompatible. It also leaves you with a one year orphaned model after the 2000 platform change. That's why there's less aftermarket support for the 99's, unfortunately.

I've had similar troubles finding any kind of aftermarket suspension stuff for my 99 Suburban.

I ordered a tuff country kit and getting Bilstein 5100 for it with a hellwig load helper. More than likely not going to start on this until spring, it's to damn cold here.

Going to box my frame and do a 6.0 and 4l80 swap as well. Hopefully won't have to fix any rust around that window.

Arizona truck... Even got the cats out without breaking anything. But I will be spraying with pb anyway. Started to rust bullet the rest of the frame where I won't be welding.
