The 85E is a 80E with a 5 pinion planetary to spread the load out further on the sun gear. So in theory a 85E is stronger than a 80E but you still have the same clutch packs and input/output shafts.
Controlling the 6L90E could be a challenge.
Id try a 80E and see how it does.
I wouldnt run a higher HP tune on engine tho. Detune it slightly and get a feel for how the transmission is going to react.
