A week ago my wife and I were T-Boned while in my 1994 ext cab k1500. Everyone is OK, m my wife has some bruises from her seat belt, we're all a little sore but luckily that's it. The other lady ran a stop sign with two kids in her little Ford wagon. She doesn't have a license or insurance and we don't have uninsured motorist insurance. Correction, we do as of the next day. So I have to fix my truck myself and take her to small claims court. She hit us in read wheel, passenger side. Bent the wheel, axel, leaf springs, etc. She hit us hard enough to spin the truck around so we then hit a telephone pole right where the bed and cab meet. So everything from my extended cab and back is crushed. The engine, interior, everything else seems to be working. I love my truck, where do I find a good frame and body without an engine?
Your truck is now a parts truck for your next truck.

Make sure you have uninsured/underinsured coverage.
Its about 15 bucks a month.
About ten years ago I T boned an idiot in a subaru outback at about 35 mph and bent that subi and knocked that dipshit into the passenger seat.
While I was on my way friggen to my insurance agent to add unisured coverage.
She had no liscense, no insurance, no registration and was on her phone.
Heres how you deal with this.
In most juristictions the cops will not show up to a traffic accident.
If you call 911 the first question they ask is if anyone is injured.
Tell them that you do not know.
And you dont know.
You aint a doctor what the hell do you know about it?
You need the cops to show up and write some tickets and then they have to file a report.
Do not ever be on record saying that nobody has been injured in a traffic accident.
Do not tell them that YOU havent been injured in that accident.
Do not answer any phone calls from that persons lawyer.
Do not sign any paperwork.
People will drive drunk stoned stupid no license no insurance no title no registration and slam into you and lie like ******* dogs to try to get out of it.
And if do not have a police report those turds can try to sue you!
I waited about 2 hours for the state troop to get to us becuase it was really bad weather.
He told me that he had been to 12 accidents that shift and only two people had liscense, insurance, and registration.
And those two people were him and me.
The last stat I read was that there are about 280,000 uninsured drivers just in western Washington.
Get the underinsured coverage folks.
A lot of those people are dumb kids with Mustangs and bald tires
