Have a question ^^^jmig^^^ or anyone else lol....
I'm about to drop my truck 4/6 but have been told that the best size tire to run for that drop is 235/60/15.
With your tire size 255/60/15 did you rub a lot?
And did the front stick out or come really close to the outside fender lip?

I ran 235/75/15 on a 5/8 drop.... But did have to roll the front fender lips on account of the increased track width in the front due to the spindles I used...

If you plan on doing springs and spindles up front you will have to trim the lower control arms unless you run 17" or larger rims

4/5 on stocks with 235/75/15

Yeah, It shows up there from time to time. I have way too many projects and working 70 hours a week gets a tad overwhelming. I rarely drive it so its usually the first one to go up for sale.

snip

How involved is the trimming? Will it cause any weakness in the arms?

That black truck in the O.P. is more than a 4/6 drop.
Are you really set on the black wheels? This is my '98 @ 4/6, with the factory SS wheels. I like this look so much, that I have a second set around so I can change 'em from the 20's that are on it now.

Did you have to trim/ modify your A arms to work with the 15" ss wheels?
