In what order do these go on? Wheel-center cap-lug nut-lug nut cover?

Or do I have the wrong caps? These have 3 holes for a mounting bolt but my wheels don’t have those holes and they don’t really fit secure at first attempt. Before I start making it fit, just wanted to make sure I had the right parts.

That looks like a square body hub cap. But it would be lug nuts first, then hub cap then black plastic lug caps. Being a square body I think some were screw on to the rim which is why theres tiny holes on the cap. If it was a 400 then the plastic caps hold the cap. Did I lose you? Lol

That’s the correct order Suburban’s but I have those also on my 96 K1500 OEM.

That’s what I assumed but the holes in the cap for the lugnuts aren’t big enough to fit over the lugnuts to do it in that order.

And yes The truck is a 96 c1500, I forgot to mention that. So it sounds more like I have the wrong caps, either buy new ones (anyone have a reputable source? These were supposed to fit) or drill holes in my wheels and use a rivnut to mount em like the square body

I feel like those 6lug caps are rare. Especially with the beauty ring. The sawblades I see all the time..

Wow roughly $470 for a complete set. I didnt know they were still available...

I honestly didn't either, I was kind of surprised to see that. Looks like they still have the chrome ones and the black ones available, with the GMC and gold Chevy emblems. No red Chevy 454SS/Sport emblems though sadly.
