Got the trailer out and ready to go for this weekend. The 12” drop shank I thought I had turned out to be a 9” drop/12” overall shank so the tongue sits a little higher than I would like, but it will work for now.

What's that camper weigh? I know my mom and dad's Forest River 32 footer weighs 6500 empty and it's a task for our C3500 sometimes.

It’s a Keystone 27’, the tag says 6300 lbs dry. It’s exactly what I have been waiting for to test the 6.5L.

I'm interested in seeing the results; I was honestly a little disappointed when my dad said our 99 struggled to pull the camper, I figured 4.56 and a 454 it'd pull like nothing was back there.
I've been tempted to loan him my K2500 to see how it pulls but with no sort of trailer wiring anymore it's a no go.
