Have towed this setup a couple of times now. 1998 C3500, 7.4L, 4.10 axle. Truck is stock haven't done anything but regular maintenance and repairs as needed. 33' Trailer is 7460 lb loaded (trailer GVWR 9600 lb). I had my setup weighed at a CAT scale last week after weighing the truck separately at another location. For those who are interested in this kind of stuff I thought I would post the results.

Truck without trailer & 1/2 tank gas: 6000 lb
Truck & trailer together: 14,060 lb
Calculated/Estimated numbers based on the above two & knowledge of front/rear axle weights with trailer connected: Hitch weight 900 lb, Truck total weight (including pin weight) = 7500 lb, trailer weight of 7460 lb

My wife's blazer has a tow hitch on it, quite hilarious towing a 10' trailer with that thing. Trailer was getting very much in my way, my Sierra has been parked off the street because of it and I'm afraid the already large passenger side dent is going to get larger. Someday I'll buy a Colorado xTreme , but I need 4x4 whereas my wife doesn't and a Blazer xTreme is much more rad :rocking:

I mean, I'm planning on using my Burb Elise to take an approximately 3700 mile round trip with an 18' trailer to grab my girlfriend, her '08 Honda CR-V, her dog and all her possessions from Idaho and bring all of them back here to Texas in about 2 months time. Give or take a week.

I have to tow the T100 tomorrow, it's in my way insanely. My daughter is coming home this weekend and needs a parking spot for her car. I'm trying not to park it forever in the woods, but it's getting to that point. I have done lots to it; Tundra leather seats, lift kit with 33's, large dents, rust, and some rust.

T100 is off my land, tried towing it with the Tahoe, now with trailer brakes. Would never do it again. Put an aftermarket Trans temp gauge in it, what the actual temp was is not to be shared but it was over 200°F. Might need a trans if I take it back, so the K2500 will be used
