Tuesday I'm dropping my escalade off at a shop to have the rear leaf hanger replaced since it rusted out and I don't have time to do it myself. I had put the firestone ride rite airbags on it because my leafs were wore out and sagged when towing and it was easier than replacing the leafs.

Now my concern is, what should I do when i drop it off so my airbags aren't damaged. I read that if the vehicle will be supported by the frame they should be aired down. Would they also need to be unbolted or would airing down be sufficient?

Put a post-it note on the steering wheel ensuring that who-ever is driving it into bay knows that there is aftermarket equipment that needs to be accounted for before lifting it.

90% of what you go through the trouble to tell the guy at the counter doesn't make it to the guy in the back...
