Don’t buy used coolers. Yiu dit know what’s stuck in them.
If yiu want the biggest cooler go buy one from a 6.0 ford diesel. They run about 150-200 for aftermarket and 300 for factory ones.
Another one that will
Work is one off a V10 ford f series. It’s about 1/2 the size of a 6.0 cooler but it’s still big.
A Nissan Armada has a huge cooler also for the trans. My wife’s 2004 QX56 is the same as Armada. And I just did a radiator on it. The trans cooler is big.

I worked at a performance transmission shop ( Art Carr in Huntington Beach, Calif )........
I installed the best transmission coolers you can use.
Setrab. Not cheap, but quality isn't.

My 4.0L Pathfinder also has a large trans cooler.

I bought a Long Tru-Cool 40K GVW model LPD47391. It does not have the cold weather bypass. I live in South Texas, but have not installed it yet. My truck is 1998 C1500 5.7 with 4L60E, but it didn't come with a factory installed one. They sell for around $125, but I can't remember what I paid.

I use this in combination with the factory cooler. Trans temps never go above 160. I should probably mention the vehicle has a 2400 stall torque converter which likely runs hotter than a factory spec torque converter.
