my trany craped out on me ugh
slips when its sposed to go into 3rd
either gona buy another tranny or convert to a 4 or 5 spd
how hard would it be to do this?

I say do a reman tranny from GM Performance. It has a 100,000 mile warranty where if it breaks down, take it to any GM dealership and they will fix it free of charge.

screw it man go with the 5 speed all you have to get is a good clutch and its so much eaiser lol do it you'll be able to hold the gears out even longer then also

well i was doin 115 when it went out
and the tranny could have been bad all along
theres no tellin how much of a dif. im gona see with a new tranny

~$2000 for just the tranny. Core charge is something like $300-$350.

i would do the swap. i love runnin my gears out, especially on those days when people won't let you on the highway. drop the clutch in 4th and punch the gas then your gone

yea 5 speed is the way to go .. there should be a factory knock under your carpet for the gear shifter... i wish i would have changed my to a 5 speed when i replaced my tranny
