Well, got the cluster back. The guy didn’t have the color LEDs I wanted in stock and I wasn’t willing to wait so I only had him fix the cluster with a full rebuild with new incandescent bulbs for now, only cost me $100 and was done in 3hrs.
Was not the source of my electrical issue though, through testing we figured out it was the battery itself even though it looked brand new. So off to Oriellys I go to get it checked out and verified. Yep, bad battery. Good news is I had a red top Optima I bought about 2.5yrs ago for the Tahoe, was dead so I asked them to charge it. Went to pick it up and it was also bad BUT I was inside my 3yr replacement warranty so the kid tossed a brand new red top on the counter and said have a nice day. So now the cluster is fixed and I got a brand new battery for $100 all together, not too bad, lol. Sun shines on a dogs ass every now and then thank god, lol.
