My truck is a 91 Chevy k1500 with a 350 and a 5 speed manual (MG5).

I'm missing the two support rods that go from the tranny to the motor area. I not 100% where they mount but I know they're missing.

I think that's an L31 thing. As far as I know the TBI motors didn't have them - the 700R4's bellhousing won't work with them. I dunno about the NV3500. The support rods went from the bottom of the bellhousing to plates that went under the motor mounts.

All of my TBI trucks have the braces. There is a plate that is between the engine block and the saddle side of the mount, there are braces that attach from the plate the the lower torque converter cover.

So, is it possible to find these anywhere?

The only bone yard that had any credibility in my area is now the most unreliable one since the owner died...

They seem to be hit or miss with TBI trucks, but most vortecs do have them. For instance, my ‘90 K3500 (manual) did not have them; the mounting plates under the motor mount ears are not present, but the bellhousing has the threaded holes where the other end would go. I’ve also seen that the rods that go on the later model 4l60e with the removable bellhousing are not the same as those on other transmissions.

Maybe this helps. Out of the 95 service manual. Section on 4L60E removal. Really... :3811797817_8d685371 upsidedown...sigh.

If anyone has a set that they'd be willing to part with or anything, let me know.

I will pay you!
