Trying to buy a truck from a buddy in Florida and have it shipped up to New York. Just not sure if its worth it.
Its a 1994 C3500, 454 motor, manual transmission, 2WD, single cab, 8 ft bed. 200k miles, and not a dually. Only a little rust on the bumper, he said 3rd gear and reverse are a little rough. Body and interior are in decent shape.
I've only ever driven the 5.7L 350 motor which I thought was pretty fast for its time, but I'm guessing with this motor, and transmission, this truck could pull pretty hard. Seems like a great project build for me, and most of the Chevys in New York are rust buckets. It has been a Florida car its entire life.
