This is the intake I got on the left, and the intake on the right is the one he still has that I’m considering to get the healthier coolant ports

From what I recall when they were more readily available, $900 was the going rate all in. What's so concerning about the coolant ports? Just smear some silicone on there and send it. Your heads probably look about the same.

I mean in terms of money what are they worth. The first round got me the “tested” injectors, fuel rail, and upper plentum, and intake for 900. I’m now considering purchasing his other upper plentum and intake bare for 400 shipped to my door. Am I in the safe zone? I’m sure the intake I got is fine, but I want perfect
I found 2 for $4-500 each. I actually found an aluminum one I should have gone to get in Austin, TX a couple of weeks ago for $500 complete. The aluminum ones are much harder to find.

So is that 4-500 complete with rails and injectors? I do realize that the intake I have in my hands would go down the road, but that thing was super flaky, and the material loss as far as I can tell is on the edge of the sealing area of the gasket. It really is nice of you guys to help. Thank you

There have been a few postings by forum members looking for marine intakes. If they are available at good money in your area you should post them in the craigslist/ebay finds section. It took me six months of daily online searches before one came up for sale three years ago. I've seen a few since but they've been partials at exorbitant prices.
