I understand that. But they only put one type of transmission in 1993 and 1994 chevy and gmc pick ups and suburbans. The 4l60e. And they only came with floor shifts for the 4x4 aspect.. I did forget to mention they are autos i admit, but if he didnt know the other things already, what was the point in even responding to my post, also the rest of what he said was very unnecessary and a bit offensive. Especially considering my name says newbie next to it and this is my first forum ever…. But thank you to all.
I think it would safe to say that the members on this forum are not going to assume someone's truck is dead stock. And if it is, what option package? They ask so as to provide better info.

IDK, good question. I’m kinda lost, is he looking for the part or is he wondering where the part is installed?
Transfer case is only so big, should be easy enough to figure out where it goes.
I'm verifying the part location... Also verifying the part itself is why I gave the Dorman number due to local parts stores are not carrying the GM brand and dealerships around here are way too high with no warranty worth a damn.... Never done one so asking is suppose to be a good thing...

100% this is the part.

It also cross references to the Dorman part you listed. It is a good thing to ask questions, but post droned on long after I posted the part earlier. So I wasn’t sure what the issue was…and that was a thing.

I see that now, an I do take the blame for the on and on drowned out thing... Never did one so getting an idea.... Also changing out the front differential seal which is fun I'm told....

I started with the 4WD actuator on the front differential...The 4wd is now working.... I'll enclose a picture... I also have the passenger r/h seal leaking, from what I've read about it is that output shaft has to come off to change the seal....The 4wd is now working....
