I’m completely stuck, I have a 96 vortec . I kept getting the code for tps low voltage and it wasn’t reading all the time and the truck will stutter or almost buck when trying to take off. (I’ve checked fuel pressure and it has new injectors) So I bought a new sensor, kept doing the exact same thing. Then I decided to wire a new pigtail in. It’s still showing low voltage. Am I missing something here? I bought a standard ignition sensor could this be the problem since it’s not oem?

Get a multimeter and check continuity between the ECU and the TPS sensor. Sounds like there may be short in the 5V supply between those two points.

Or connect a scan tool, let the computer tell you what signal it's receiving from the sensor including any wire-harness issues.

You can verify five or more sensors with a scan tool in the time it takes to verify one with an ohmmeter.
