Will the torsion bars from a 2012 k2500 fit a 1998 k1500?

I HIGHLY doubt it. Way different frame design and suspension geometry

I'd be surprised if they didn't. Go to the dealer, crawl under one with a tape.

No they won't. They are much larger than the 2010 down trucks. The older 800 and 900 trucks up to 2010 might though.

if someone reminds me monday i can pull up the chassis assembly at work at get a linear measurement on a k2xx chassis truck.

800 bars work i know. thats the extent of my knowledge. my thoughts are though that anything 2012 is gonna be a 2500 or 3500 with probably higher torsion rates so maybe my question is whats your though behind this?

On car- part.com it showed them being interchangeable. However I'm not sure how accurate that is. I'm hoping they do so I can find torsion bars easier for my truck

Welders can weld, and fitters can fit, but the porta-can-man knows his ****.

I made a few calls. under 2007 will fit. anything over that will definitely not work. I did find a set off a 06 with 5k miles on them but they were 8000 ft lbs torque rated. mine are only 4600 or so. dealer told me my truck with the option codes is kind of a hybrid.

I dont meanvto highjack but curious how does you truck handle snd ride
