I was about to crank up the bars on my truck (looking for 1 - 1.5 inches more in the front) when i noticed driver side bolt is at about a 45 degree angle while passenger bolt is almost straight vertical is this a problem?

WHAT VEHICLE?

Measure the "Z" height as shown in the service manual. See if there's a side-to-side variation in ride height.

Do not short-cut this. Measuring from the ground to the fender-lip is NOT an acceptable process.

I see that quite often. What happens is the torsion bar, in the LCA, isnt directly inline with the hole in the torsion bar x-member.
What I do is this:
Jack up the x-member under the engine, dangling the front suspension.
Loosen the torsion bar adjuster bolt till the key hits the adjuster bolt nut block.
With a pry bar, pry the key inward till the bolt is vertical.
Then tighten.
A better option is to rattle the LCA at the hex till it's loose and lines up by itself. Then tighten.
