Today's junk yard finds

I need those fog lights and brackets off that tahoe. Haha. To bad it's like 1500 miles from me. Bummer..

Usually I dont tell people about the trucks until I had my go @ them. But I cant get there for a couple of weeks.

If there still there when I get there, I surely will grab them.

When good, I grab the foglights, brackets, the switch & the full harness.
The foglight harness is seperate from the headlight harness, unlike the Denali & Escalade.
I also grab the side steps & taillights.

I'm so envious of your junkyards guys. I can go to ours and probably just find some Vauxhall Astra hubcaps.

Yeah, but finding Girling calipers for my Sunbeam Alpine is a b****. I've haven't moved on that project for eight years now.

98 k1500 4x4 on the floor, tan cloth interior w/ a 60/40 bench.
Clean truck until the animals got to it.

This truck was put out yesterday.
I got here @ opening @ 8am today.

My local yard doesn't allow sawzalls. I hacksawed the front core support off a Mustang to replace the mangled core support on my kids' car, and they got mad at me - but it wasn't against the rules and they let me buy it. I'm good with it because it keeps people from doing that kind of stupid stuff, but if you want sheetmetal, you're gonna work for it.

They allow sawzalls here, but no torches or jacks. If needed, just find a jack that they didn't remove.
