I would not recommend stock 47" springs. My clearances weren't great at 7-8" of lift. 6" should be alright with 47s but lower than that and you might run into clearance issues again.

So would a set of stock 52" springs with an extra main leaf with the eyes cut off, even with the additional lift be alright? I'm trying to keep costs down a bit. Also, the Offroad Design kit is currently the front runner as its completely bolt on (according the website anyways), And I'll probably go in and put a couple beads on it anyways just to be safe. Is it as easy to install as they say it is? And I only keep asking about the 52" springs because I have 3 or 4 sets laying around here somewhere.

Should be alright with an extra main leaf, yes. That should stiffen it up a little bit without adding much lift. The ORD kit is fairly easy to install but requires a good amount of drilling. You'll probably want to only put two bolts in each of the rear brackets and get them set for proper shackle angle before drilling the rest of the holes.

What clearance issues did you have? Just curious, because I'm trying to stay low, I don't have a problem limiting up travel, I'm not jumping it lol

Correct shackle angle is 45 degrees at ride height with weight on it correct? Also, is there any adjustability built into those brackets?

I do not see where everybody is having clearance issues with the factory 47 inch springs. That is exactly what I did on my truck and I have no clearance issues whatsoever...

I rebuilt my whole IFS front end recently... and i added a steering stabilizer from "rancho"
the ride quality and control on and off-road improved a lot.
it cost be about $800
SAS would be cool... but very expensive...
and i wasn't ready to abandon all the stock equipment GM spent hundreds of millions of dollars developing... and you can buy stock parts almost anywhere.

You're probably closer to 5" lift with your AALs. How much room between frame and drag link at full compression?
