Haha yah a year or so ago you're right, I would have stripped it to the frame for failing me. All I have to say is its lucky switching that plow mount is a pain. Also lucky it has the nv4500.

This post I should have elaborated, I finally got a ranch hand like I've wanted since I could drive. Found it for $500 and it needed paint.

I stripped it and bed linered it. Pulled the old one off and used the forklift to put it on.

Also it got new seats. The old ones cushions were damn near gone so it was super uncomfortable. Then one day I was dropping a truck off at the scrap yard and saw a rolled 3rd gen half ton, look and the seats were perfect. Went in and bought them for $150. Here you can barely see the 400 pulling them home.

the new ones are a huge improvement. They're electric vs. Manual for one. They have the storage compartment under the middle seat which the old ones didnt. Which imo all reg cabs should come standard with one. And on top of those 2 things they're black and much more comfortable.

Replaced the alternator that took a dump on me with one out of an ambulance with a 6.7 it's a 220 amp one compared to the stock 135 amp one. Should help alot with how much I use the winch. (Alot)
