Yes, one bulb/socket is for backlighting when dash lights are on, the second show's when 4wd has engaged by lighting up another portion of the shifter bezel.I have push button, this for the manual shift?
That piece is the same as a standard cab truck. Treasure yard ho!Stupid Question - Where would I find a rear valance (top piece where the back dome light mounts) on a 1999 K3500 crew cab in grey. I was really stupid and broke it when nothing was wrong with it. Had been looking a LMC etc and they don't do crew cab parts.
Craig,I am going to look at a 1996 3500 crew cab this weekend. I was told it was stored in a barn. Having had vehicles from barns before I want to check under the rear seat for possible rodent habitation.
So my question is does the rear seat cushion fold up? If not how do you remove it?
Thanks
Craig
Thank you. I wish I would have saved myself the day and checked back here, but I did figure that out. Of course it was a broken one also....lol I did pick up a tan one, now need to figure out plastic painting I guess. That piece is the same as a standard cab truck. Treasure yard ho!
GMT400: 88-98; GMT800: 99-06; GMT900: 07-13.OK; what is GMT400, GMT800, GMt900 that I keep seeing here ??
And the difference C1500 and K1500??
You just had to confuse the fellow lol.... smhNote that those years are not hard numbers. The 1500 pickups switched to GMT800 in '98, but the 3/4 and 1 ton (2500/3500) followed in 1999, the Suburbans in 2000, and the vans in 2004. The '88 & '89 Suburbans are still squarebodies instead of GMT400s. Then there are a few outliers in every generation switch as GM uses up all their leftover parts.
Blazers, Suburbans, and Crew Cabs didn't change body style until 1992 so 91 and older are Square Bodies.Note that those years are not hard numbers.
