Best spark plug for a 92 4.3 V6?:) I would rather not use the copper OEM ones so what’s a nice upgrade that’ll work?
I know I'll probably get some flack for not recommending AC Delco, but I love NGK plugs. I've read that NGK actually makes some of AC Delco's plugs. I use them for everything from my lawn mower to the family race car. For your motor I would use NGK 3547 they are platinum. You can go double plat or iridium as well, NGK makes all kinds, but I don't see the point on your vehicle.

Would those NGK 3547s be a good replacement in a 350 tbi? My motor must be on its way out, my CR43TS plugs have only been in 1000mi and 3 of them are like this:

My truck needs a new starter. I was thinking about going with the ac delco gear reduction one part # 3371022. Is this one of the starters that would require me to get the different bolts which I believe are part # 12338064.

Those are exactly what I am running in my TBI 350. I doubt the plugs themselves are causing that, though.

Yes. The bolts will be about 4-5/16” long. When I pulled the factory direct drive starter from my 98, it actually had the same bolts used on the gear reduction starter. I’ve seen where others had the same results.

But, the knurled part can wear down a bit, so it’s probably safe to buy new bolts anyways.
