Left knee/ankle got tweaked pretty good. Hobblin' around on cane when it really starts buggin' me.
So far just physio. I don't see any diff, yet. Who knows what the long-term may be.
Lawyer's all set to go. Want's to wait till December, though.
If the other person was at fault and cited you will probably have a good "payday". Good luck.

He accepted responsibility at the scene.
Pulled out from a side road in front of me. I was doing 45-50mph. No time to even hit the brakes.
He recieved a couple of those long blue pieces of paper from the cops.
I'm just wanting enough for another nice daily & to get my '98 ready for some Spring Mustang hunting.
Although, that m-m-a-y get...expensive. HeHe.

So, I've got a 1988 Chevy C1500 for a project and I'm looking to buy some new wheels for it. Currently, the truck is running 255/70R15s all the way around on a set of 15x8s.
I do have hopes to eventually lower the truck 5"/7" so I hope the wheels I buy now will fit once it's lowered. The wheels I've been looking at are a set of VN515 TORQ THRUST II 1 PC from American Racing. I'd like to run either 18x8s 4.5" backspacing 0mm offset or 18x9s 5" backspacing 0mm offset in the front with 245/35R18s and then 18x10s 5.74" Backspacing and 6mm offset in the rear with 295/35R18.

From the measurements, I've taken they should fit, but I'm not entirely sure. I have no issues with rolling fenders when the truck is lowered. Any suggestions on size or wheel selection are much appreciated!

I've got 31x10.50/15s on my stock suspension 94 2wd. No rubs. Rides nice, sits better.

I've been using this for years. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

those 31s equal to just larger than a 265-75-15

A 275-50-15 equals to 25.8" tall, 10.82" wide. That's pretty short. It'll be losing around 15% of the final drive ratio to the 31x10.50 and about 9% to the stock 225-75-15. The easy way to explain it is that if you truck is going 100, the speedo is going to read 110. If the truck is 50, speedo is 55. But since these trucks speedos are already over compensated when you are doing 50 the speedo is going to read around 60. Also, the RPMs will be higher and the odo will be incorrect.

The shop I work for does about a million a year in performance tires and we have noticed that the actual dimension of the tires vary greatly depending on the manufacturer. An example is that a 255-35-20 Nexon N3000 is visibly smaller in all dimensions to a Nitto NT555 and the Nitto is smaller than a Toyo Proxes4 all in the same size.
That explained everything I needed to know. Would 15x10 fit and what offset

Might be in the market for 15x7s up front and 15x8s in rear of my 97 C1500, putting 275/60r15s on the rear 15x8s but what’s a good match for the front 15x7s? Pics would be very helpful as well to get an idea of how they’d look.

On my 1991 rcsb 2-wheel drive that is lowered 4"-6" I've got 15"x7" on the front with BFG 215/75R15" and on the back it's got 15"x8" with BFG 285x70x15". The wheels are made by Rev which I am pretty sure are made by the company that makes American Racing wheels. They are a 5-spoke design. I was told the American centers will bolt on them The fronts have 0 mm offset and 4" backspacing. The rears have 0 mm offset and 4 1/2 " backspacing. The fronts fit perfect but I had to roll the rear fenders slightly so they wouldn't rub. This may make me sound stupid but I don't know how to post pics. Sorry. I figured it out. Pics should be in the next post. Hope this helps.

The blue one is 2/4.
I play with the angles when shooting pix. Lol!
I may take 20-30 pix just to get one good one.
Here's a couple of the '97 that makes it look a lot lower than it actually is.
Wearing the 275/60's. Just to keep things in context!
