I like the roll bar in it, though it would look better if it was more level with the cab. Other that, great looking truck! I like the custom paint as well. With some bigger tires and the bed fixed, it will look badass.

New member here. This is the 1993 Silverado C1500 I bought off my dad a month ago and ran across this site when looking things up for it. It's just a little 4.3 powered truck but runs great after a tune up and other little things. I just added factory aluminum rim's with like new tires today.

Pretty much now just have to change thermostat and radiator/heater hoses this weekend and tackle fixing and updating the air conditioning system to R134A and I'll have everything working on it. This isn't my first OBS as I had a 1992 K2500 rclb 454 powered GMC in the early 2000s.

It’ll leave a black mark or two, shifting into third. Haha
It’s an LQ4 out of a 2003 Silverado. Here’s a few more pics.

My new tow rig. 2000 3500 sierra with a 350ci from the factory and 198k miles. Practically a base model with champaign paint but this things a beast!

Mods include:
-3 led lights mounted to front bumper, very bright
-Newer 16" OEM wheels with brand new Mudstar MT tires
-Heavily built 700r4 transmission
-AC Delco air suspension
-4.10 gears in 1.25 ton axel
-back up camera and 2 LED cubes mounted to rear bumper.. Makes 2% tint manageable in low light and keeps hookups quick and easy.

Also have rubber flooring and a rather nice system inside. Not bad for $2200 bucks id say!

Yes, GM air shocks. I have an air compressor mounted in the truck that allows me to level out, reducing the "squat" you get under load.. Pretty cool
Ah okay. Hadn't heard of ACDelco air shocks before.

I have a 2/4 drop on my 89 Chevy 350 SS. While the tires and wheels look badass, they are too wide and have had to replace the steering gearbox likely due to them. I plan to purchase a set of 15x8 5 lug wheel from LMC, and want to use Cooper Cobra's as I like the big raised white lettering. I could use some advice as to tire size though. I was thinking of putting 255/60's on the front and 275/60's on the rear. There was a post in the 2/4 drop thread where 245/60's were on the front. I would like to have good handling and performance for the tires I get (and look really cool too).

BTW, I am getting rid of the Progressive wheels you see here.
