I love your truck [emoji3590][emoji7] this is what I was looking to buy when I bought my suburban six months ago LOL by the way I wanted to ask you what you’re going to use to get those new wheels on the 94? Are you going to use spacers? Forgive my ignorance!

No worries. Old ones were 17x7s, new ones are 18x8.5s. Similar enough offset that wheels fit the wheel well about the same. Just tucked in front and back. I might add spacers to push them out a bit once I do my lift kit.

This is my 89 gmc c1500 sierra sle.

350 tbi with 4l60e, was completely taken apart in 2012 and repainted, was originally silver, inside of cab, firewall and even inside the doors were painted..

I bought it from the original owner. Was supposedly rust free till I started poking at the cab corners and yeah.. rust there.. but that's it!

Po must of rubbed up on something on the passenger side because it had some bondo under the rubber side things, that when I removed them it took some paint off, exposing bubbles.. got all that junk out and pulled the dent a bit more and added a little filler.. water must of got in through the inside of the door from the holes from when they pulled the dent and didn't weld them up..

I also added the cd player, had a tape deck and gray radio plastic that I replaced with the matching color. Also got the old radio delete cubby hole. New Kenwood dash speakers.. need to figure out the wiring to the rear speakers.

I also retinted the windows as they were peeling and added black door handles in favor of the chrome ones since the pictures were taken.. that was fun to so.. lubed the door locking mechanism as the passenger side was sticky while I had the door panels off

Passenger side corner had lots of bondo in it.. waiting on new cab corners..

I've rebuilt the tbi, and replaced the water pump as it started leaking, new belt too.. truck sat around since 2016.. po is 89 now.. could not drive anymore and his son finally got him.to sell it..

Might drop it a few inches and want to get some steel rally wheels.. going to be my dd for awhile.. would really like to build a 400hp sb 383 or so and carb it.. the 350 runs like new though

Just picked this beauty up this weekend And I am so excited! 1998 C2500 Extended Cab LB with 116K on it. Garage kept, “garden truck” that mainly hauled pinestraw and mulch most of its life. I am trying to get to know the truck and fix anything mechanical first. But I am joining this site to get a look into what other folks are doing to make them the best they can be. any suggestions are welcome!

Nice! Glad to see there's still some unmolested trucks out there. Around here, they're either too nice to afford or rode hard, put up wet, still working.....
