DMV office clerk told me "two to three weeks" and I had the plates in hand in two weeks from our appointment. If I can get Burb running and inspected before January he will get a set too. Otherwise I'll wait till then, so no inspection will be needed. Title has to be transferred from Dad's name to Mom and I, too and that will cost some.

Lone Star Throwdown 25, who's going? I've been wanting to for 4 years now, but stuff always came up.

My son goes to Sam Houston now, so I thought I'd swing by and pick him up in his Tahoe and hit the show for a few hours.

My son goes to Sam Houston now, so I thought I'd swing by and pick him up in his Tahoe and hit the show for a few hours.

I want to...and my buddy Bernard probably wants to as well...but he often gets called into work at the last minute. That scuttled our plans to go to the model show in New Braunfels today, when he got the call yesterday afternoon.
I'll have to take a day or two off from work, for the Conroe swap meet the previous weekend, so how I do at the meet will factor into it too.
