I have a 1994 ecsb with the 5.7 TBI and CS130 Alternator I'm looking to swap over to a add244 but during my research
I see conflicting information.

Some say plug the factory brown wire to the New alts L terminal and you're done
some say brown wire + sense sense wire hooked to the output stud on the alt.
I also see mention of resistor needed to be added.

My truck does have gauges and only has 1 brown wire going to my alt..
The new ad244 is from a 2003 Trailblazer with a V8 it is the 4 prong version.

Could somebody set me straight on the wiring, I'd like to get this right the first time.

Thanks in advance for any help.
