Tailgate wont close

Hey guys,
My tailgate on my 90 wont latch on one side and it stuck out a bit, so I replaced the tailgate hinges and now it wont even close when shut, I have to open the handle, and now the tailgate sticks out on one side

What do you think is the issue? Warped tailgate?

Sure looks warped just by looking at pics !

Oil all moving componets, check youtube vidios. When I bought my truck it would only catch 1 side, the problem was in the linkage, accessed thru the center handle.

Just an update,
I replaced the body hinges and it fixed it, both sides latch now

Thanks for the update. Bet somebody bumped into something in the past and warped that hinge . Good work on chasing down the problem.
