T56 swap into 96 K1500 with the 5.7

Hey guys, new to the forum here so I apologize if this has been covered previously and I missed the thread. Just curious to see if anybody on here has undergone the process of swapping a T56 into their K1500 with the 5.7 and how much was involved. Mine has the 5-speed manual in it already but it's shot and the engine has only 21k miles on it since the rebuild and tune-up. Found a T56 here, https://reman-transmission.com/transmission-codes/?code=T56, for only 4300 which ain't bad in this market and it comes with free shipping and a 3-year warranty so I figured that's about as good as it gets. I'm just a little wary about ordering from these guys so if anyone has experience with them or another T56 transmission rebuilder I'm all ears as well.

You're forgetting about the transfer case. Rockland makes a setup that works, and when I emailed them about it eons ago I could get the unique pieces individually.
