...you are trying to steal parts from the NBS just for the ratio/G80?

The ring gear and pinion sets are usually labeled campatible with both the GM 8.5 and 8.6, I believe the only difference is the thickness of some shim.


Are you sure the NBS was 4.10? I don't recall any NBS 1500 getting 4.10, except for the Silverado SS and Sierra Denali, both pretty rare...but maybe I'm wrong?

If I'm reading this right Gt5 means 4:10, and G80, posi rear.

G80 is not technically a LSD ("posi"), but that's irrelevant...
