Hey guys I have a 88 K3500 single cab with the bench and am wanting to do 2 10s with a 5 channel amp and here’s my issue I’m 6 foot tall so I need the seat all the way back or not far from it and want a box that thumps and subs that punch good in the box so I’m curious what are y’all’s setups and recommendations for what I can do in my 88 single cab thanks for your time

My buddy put a single kicker solo baric in his daughters obs. It was in a premade kicker box and sounded very nice, I believe the seat was all the way back also.

I have two 8" Subs with an actual linear stroke of 16mm peak to peak under the bench seat. I feel that is more than enough for a Regular Cab, infact I only used one for a while. I feed them 100W Class D power each. You could probably fit 10" woofers in the same boxes if you where to use the shallow mount style.
But IIRC the net Volume of the boxes ended up at 9liters so it would probably be hard to find 10" woofers that works.

how much RMS power on the sub channel? which amp? curious

sundown audio makes a couple different killer shallow mount products. box requirements are also modest.

I would love to see some pictures of these boxes under the seat. I have the JL 8" powered and it will not fit under the seat on either side. If I can just get an 8" box and a normal amp to fit under the seats that would be perfect.
