Hi all,

I am in need of new mounting hardware for the OEM black plastic running boards for my 1997 K1500 Suburban
They are the square stock T post that hang on the slotted tabs hanging from the underside of the truck
How fruitless is my endeavor?
Or by some miracle is there a source aside from junkyard crusty takeoffs?
Any leads are appreciated

Thanks

Here is a website that has the GM part numbers. You may be able to use that to search for the individual parts or find an aftermarket equivalent.

https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/epc/chevrolet/54c-k/08/tc08-001/

If the link doesn’t work, go to the website, select Suburban and then “Front axle-front suspension-steering”. The running board section is under that.

The table lists the model codes. CK109(06) is a Suburban, the 109 indicating long wheelbase and the (06) being a four door utility. Similarly, 107 is a short wheelbase platform, so a CK107(06) would be a four door Tahoe. 105(16) is a two door Tahoe.

CK109,2(06) would mean it is for a 1/2 (109) or 3/4 (209) ton Suburban.

Thanks
I just checked and saw that everything has, of course, been discontinued
Been searching the part # all over the internet and that is the only result
I have my factory running boards that I took off but the hardware was toast

I’ve had some success calling a dealer and asking if they can search other dealer inventories to see if they have a part. That’s been a few years, though, but may be worth a shot.
