After lurking for the past year thought I would put up my new purchase. Bought it in the fall of 2017. It's a 1999 suburban k1500 with 160,000 miles. I previously had a 1999 Silverado k1500 so I already new most things about these vehicles just needed something bigger to haul the kids in.
The day I brought it home.

Since then I have
New lights in the front. Old one we're all yellowed and not a fan of the clear marker lamps. Prefer factory.
Inside door handle
4 new door actuators
Door pins and bushings
New battery optima red top
Command start with alarm. (Must have in Saskatchewan)
Water pump / thermostat
Gear reduction starter
Rear barn door glass. (Almost every grid had a break in it.)
Tinted the windows
New trailer wiring and brake controller
Fuel pump
Corvette servo
Pioneer sphda120 stereo
Factory steering wheel controls
New wheels and tires 20 inch American racing AR926 patrol with toyo at2

Still to do

Radiator leaving from side tank when cold
Oil cooler lines
Alternator
Full tune up
Upgrade spider fuel injection
Blower motor
Manga flow exhaust
Gibson headers? Maybe
Volant air intake
Black bear tune
Bigger transmission cooler
Rear air bags
4 corner mod
4 hi mod

And when ever I win the lottery then a HT383e or a 6.0 ls swap

Damnit, you beat me to the wheels, lol. I seen when AR released those and said to myself those will look badass on a gmt400. Looks good man.

Thanks yeah I almost ordered fuel maverick because I could find something simple that I like then seen these. Took me 2 months of waiting for them to come in. Would have preferred the chrome but I plan to leave these on during the winter and the chrome or PVD do not last in Canadian winters.

What brand headlights & parking lights did you go with? Looks great

Gm head lights and corner lamps. Park lamps are from rock auto cost like $20 each. The headlamps are cheap from gm in Canada cost like $80 each for compete assembly.

I absolutely love those wheels! I might have to steal your idea when i get 20's in the hopefully not too distant future. Those AR's look right at home on a 400!

Little update just out on some new mud flaps for better protection and a bug deflector. Also out in a 3rd roof rack rail so have more room for my cargo box.
Before.

After. With this big of a roof I don't see why didn't do this from factory.

Also put some new centre caps in the wheels. Can't decide if I should keep them chrome or black

Looks good both ways, I'd just swap them out whenever just to slightly change up the look a bit.
