I have a very small leak in my compressor. I also have a set of HF gauges. First thing, when I add freon, I look at an ambient temperature chart to see where the pressures need to be. Also I find that with 134A, it is much more accurate to read the HP side. Also, the pressure will come up as the RPMs come up. So, if at 90° F the chart says 240 to 275 for example, then at idle its at 240, and at say 2000 RPMs its at 275, your golden. Those numbers are just an example, but you get the picture.

There is a whole lot more to those numbers then the chart indicates. They might be close on for a basic charge they don't help at all with diagnosing a failure and where to look for the culprit. IMO they are marginal at best for getting the correct charge "on the fly" without evacuation to see what's in there to start with. When you get into variable rate compressors the chart is worthless. Far better to take the time to figure out where your at then to just "add"

Im not disagreeing with you, but you have to start somewhere.
Step 1 get the compressor to kick on.
Step 2 see what the pressures are.
Step 3 then get the charge close enough to tell what the system is doing.
You cant diagnose anything without a charge, short of a locked up compressor, or a broken off line or other very obvious failure, with out freon in the system.
I agree, whatever the issue is, it needs to be fixed correctly.

Well had to rig up a hole saw kit and drill out the hole to fit my new shocks. Took the truck for another spin around the block. Did some heavy accelerations and managed to get the wheels to do some slippage . She sure does purr. My son had a blast. Now just waiting on some fine tuning and the upgraded cables. Will keep everybody posted with the progress and results

I'm all caught up on this now, congrats!
Lol. It's a long story but glad you caught up. Cant tell you how bad I miss driving it. Even if it's just around the block. That's one thing I love about the gmt400 lol. Driving a verano to work and highlander on the weekends doesnt even come close to the fun and personality of this burb. I think my son discovered that.

Well heres the latest . Got all the cables installed. Thank you again to @5vortec7. Great quality and awesome turn out. The volt guage stays steady at 14v no matter if I have everything on. Got it all loomed and will make sure nothing is touching anything hot or sharp. Took her for a test drive and I think shes ready for insurance. I really wanna start driving this rig around town. Absolutely drives great. Thanks to everybody who's helped me accomplish this.:)

Glad to hear it! I gotta work on my Burb this weekend, cause it's gotta be ready to go to Austin next Saturday. No bux for a rental ( they want too much now!).
