I did not see that but that looks damn close to the video. They stabbed a 383 which is badass. I think gm orginally just used the 5.7 350.

In the salvage yard, came across a 91 K1500 with a sunroof?? It looked like a standard truck, no signs of it being a conversion truck, and a full length OHD console with a screen in it, if I had more time I would've grabbed both of them for posterity sake.

That's a '91? Looks like 95 up interior to me. Grab handles and console look swoopy and streamlined like the later trucks. Maybe Escalade or Denali overhead console, to have the DVD player and screen? Wish I could find stuff like that in my yard; I'd happily eat ramen for a while to get goodies like this!

Oh! I should've specified; first pic is a 91, 2nd is a 99 Tahoe.
I can almost always find a large overhead console any time I go to LKQ, they're usually torn up by the time I see them though.

The only Esky/Denali's they've had in my yard were pretty thrashed by the time they got there. I got the regular console, between the front seats, out of one, along with the in dash stereo bits. But didn't get the overhead, it was damaged, and getting what I got about killed me(it was August and I was half crazy to go out there in the first place!). I check their inventory pretty often to see when they get fresh meat. I need to go to the lkq that's closer to me, but either it rains, I have to work, or I'm broke....
That Tahoe isn't a Limited by any chance is it? I'd love to have a set of the driving lights for my Burb.
