The very much not common 3500HD crew cab.. Houston TX $3500 for a '99 model with 102K claimed miles.

6.5td, auto, says it runs like new with no issues other than cosmetic. So if you're that one guy that can keep 6.5's running, this truck may be for you! ;)

Looks like it needs some body work / parts replacement, and in my experience a front bumper hit like that probably broke the weld-on bumper bracket at the frame horn.. but for $3500 I don't think you can go wrong here. Crew HD's not very easy to find.

This stuff caught my eye at the Jefferson Swap Meet in Jefferson, WI.

Gave $35 for the toolbox, $10 for the 6 lug WT caps, $20 for the 8 lug, and $10 for the 4WD brace plates that go under the engine mounts (engine side).

A pretty disappointing year this time. Never thought I’d be upset saving money.

Damn I wish that was a LOT closer....
Saw a nice OEM Chevy grille for $50 on FB here, but it was other side of town with no other reason for me to go over there, so I had to pretend I didn't see it.

Just saw this though also located in Houston. It's a FB group post so I hope the link works for people that aren't members of the group -

Reg cab dually, lowered, 454/auto, unknown year so far because I'm seeing 88-89 headlights but the gear selector on the moonies has OD.. so it's a '91 with a headlight swap, or could just be a cluster swap due to failure, who knows. Asked seller just now. Claimed 77K miles and it's wrecked in the front, for $5K. If the damage isn't too bad, that's a hell of a deal.

He's added a pic of the front end disassembled (core support, hood, passenger fender) to the post, states it will need the whole front clip, which was kind of obvious from the previous pics anyway, so the comments from people claiming he was hiding something were dumb. A walk-around video showing it still running and sounding decent was also added. I'll stand by my assessment for $5K it sounds like a buildable project. Seller told me in PM it's an '88 model.

Or, double the money for what looks like a really freakin' clean and solid '89 C3500 reg cab dually. 454, 4 speed, some aftermarket aluminum wheels, and new tires. 116K miles, $10.5K

More than I'd want to spend for a non-OD transmission model with moonie gauges and crank windows, but I know a truck like this hits the sweet spot for a lot of people. Other than what looks like a repair to the driver edge of the front seat, it looks nice. The seat is obviously from a newer model (92-94 or so) and the grille is a newer aftermarket piece too but overall it looks like a solid truck that is pretty original.

Alto TX which is kind of East/Central

Man.. talk about really catch my eye. Russelville AR, 1992 GMC C2500LD ex cab - 350 / NV4500, 194K miles, claimed one owner/no accidents, only $2500. It actually looks pretty decent in the pics though they're screen shots, so you gotta blow 'em up and squiiiiinnnnnttt

Hell of a deal if it looks even half as good in person. Not common to see the NV4500 in anything less than an 8 lugger.

Hmmm, if I wasn't a newer interior/OBD2 hater, this truck would be ticking some boxes for me. 1999 C2500 Suburban 7.4 with some custom touches

125K miles. 20" Detroit Steel wheels, Forever Sharp steering wheel (which I've not heard great things about durability), and what looks like OEM quad sealed beam swap (they don't look like the LMC replaceable capsule aftermarkets), color matched grille, and slight drop. Not a bad truck but I dunno if it's worth $12K? Maybe to the right buyer.. it's a very sharp looking Suburban. IMO it needs a different steering wheel and some 20" aluminum Rally's instead.. and more drop! Of course!

Caught my eye and not in a good way

1998 C3500 regular cab dually "unicorn truck"

Claiming 65K miles, they've pulled the hood and core support to drop (literally) a 5.3/4L60E in it from a 145K mile donor truck, the entire rest of the conversion left to finish. Looks like it's been sitting outside with the hood off for who knows how long. That 65K mile interior has engine parts sitting on the seat, like you'd expect. Battery sitting on the carpet.

Who wants a C3500 dually with a 5.3 in it? With a near end of life 4L60E?? Who would want a 4L60E in a C3500 at all?

WTF is wrong with people?

The owner doesn’t even want it!
No kidding! And who can blame him?

On the other hand.. I'm looking at this ad, thinking, "Why is it $18.5K?" The description simply reads, "1992 Chevrolet dually Good condition"

It's a white regular cab C3500 dually with blue interior. PW/PL, etc. It's lowered on Alcoa classics (or look-alikes.) Billet grille inserts, color matched smoothie bumpers, tow mirrors (bleh), cowl hood (meh), shaved tailgate (meh.) Looks like decent white paint. All around looks fairly decent. 207K miles on the odometer.

But $18.5K?

Then you get to the engine pic and see it has a Cummins 12V. NO mention of anything, in the ad text, LOL. Still not sure it's worth $18.5K but it's definitely worth more than what I was initially thinking. Anyhow it used to be dark blue, and the A/C isn't hooked up.
